1967 Volkswagen Beetle "Fully restored and modified. 1600 CC, Disc brakes, Gorgeous both mechanically and cosmetically. Well sorted, Great running and driving car, the best!!!

The car on offer here is this gorgeous 1967 Volkswagen Beetle. The car has been restored and modified by its previous owner. Restorative work included every part of the car, from floors to exterior paint, interior work, and all mechanicals; the car is well sorted and runs and drives as well as it looks. Repainted in and beautiful metallic red, the paint is excellent with deep shine and great luster. The paintwork is show quality and is a 9/10 (i never give a 10). The 1.6-liter flat-four engine was rebuilt and features dual carbs, Pertronics distributor, a high-performance camshaft, and a Jones exhaust system (the car has heater boxes). Running on staggered-width 15″ alloy wheels with new tires, Disc Brakes at all 4, and rebuilt suspension; the car handles as well as it looks. Additional upgrades include H4 headlights, and an aftermarket Stereo with dual subwoofers, 4 additional speakers, and two tweeters in the front; the sound is amazing. This modified Beetle is at our dealership in Connecticut and comes with a clean Massachusetts title. Additional details include chrome bumpers with overriders, a left-side mirror, body-colored running boards, and pop-out rear windows. All trim was replaced and a major spare completes the package. The wheels are staggered-width 15″ wheels, fitted with 145/65 Continental tires in front and Futura 255/60 tires at the rear. The interior is finished in black vinyl upholstery with matching door panels and color-coordinated carpeting. Shoulder belts are fitted for the front occupants, and the back seats feature lap belts. Additional equipment includes a wicker parcel tray, a mobile phone mount, and a Bluetooth-capable hidden stereo linked to a Lanzar amplifier. The three-spoke Grant steering wheel frames a V90-mph speedometer, while a pair of auxiliary gauges are mounted under the dashboard. The five-digit odometer indicates 42k miles (the true miles are unknown). We have driven the car approximately 200 miles and can attest to its on-road competence. Power is transferred through a FREEWAY FLYER four-speed manual transaxle. The car maintains freeway speeds with ease. Buy with confidence, as this VW is stunning from every angle, and needs nothing except an enthusiastic owner/collector.
