This 1979 Datsun 280ZX, this 2-owner car is in wonderful condition and has only 72,350 miles. It is finished in its correct Silver Mist (646) paint (repainted in 2015). The car lived in Washington state with its original owner and his family until 2014, and is in very original condition including the original drivetrain and interior. The car has been well maintained and runs and drives as it should. Power is by its original 2.8-liter inline-six paired with a five-speed manual transmission, air conditioning, cruise control, powered windows, and its original radio (an Alpine CD stereo is hidden in the glove box). Since 2015, the car received a comprehensive glass out repaint, a new stainless steel exhaust system, a new headliner, new plugs and wires, new battery (2020) and multiple oil and fluid changes. This 280ZX has traveled 72,345 miles and comes with the original window sticker, all books and manuals, manufacturer’s literature, service records and a clean New York title. The car is finished in its original Silver Mist (646). Additional features include cast rocker trim, dual hood vents, beltline moldings, and black bumpers with chrome trim. The tinted electric window and all mechanical systems work as designed. The Factory 14″ alloy wheels were restored and are shod with Cooper tires. Braking is handled by front discs and rear drums. The cabin features its original bucket seats upholstered in blue cloth and gray vinyl and matching door panels and blue carpets. The car is also equipped with cruise control as well as power windows and mirrors. The dashboard is original and in great condition; it has no issues. The original 2.8-liter L28 inline-six is equipped with Bosch L-Jetronic fuel injection and was rated at 132 horsepower and 144 lb-ft of torque when new.
