1972 BMW 3.0CS “Excellent Drive quality car, Mechanically excellent cosmetically good”!!

The car on offer here is this “Driver Quality” 1972 BMW 3.0 CS. At some point, the car received a repaint in BMW Blue, the car was originally Malaga Red. The blue repaint is comprehensive, including the engine compartment and trunk. The paint is good with nice shine and luster; there are blemishes around the car. The rubber and exterior trim has been replaced and is soft and pliable. The tan interior looks original and is really nice, with a mild patina, and a rich color; the drivers door pull escutcheon is cracked, we are trying to source a replacement. Overall, the car is mechanically excellent and cosmetically good. The engine has been recently tuned and runs and drives beautifully. The 4-speed transmission shifts with authority and the clutch engages progressively; this is a really nice driving car. All systems function as they should including the power windows and heat. The car shows 24,950 miles, but we are selling the car True Mileage Unknown. Buy with confidence, as this 1972 BMW 3.0 CS can be enjoyed as is, or would make a great platform for a restoration.
