The car on offer here is this stunning 1969 AC 428 Fastback coupe. This car is a particularly compelling example. It is exceedingly rare to see an AC 428 of any kind, and this car is one of only 12 AC 428s left-hand drive (as indicated by the 'X' in the chassis number). One of only three believed to have been delivered to the United State. It has been beautifully preserved over the last half century. Subject to an older repaint, the interior appears to be as it left the factory, down the 8-Track player mounted in the dash. Featuring a 427 Cobra Chassis, 428 cid engine, Automatic transmission, beautifully appointed leather interior, The Frua Coupes offer amazing performance, great GT abilities and gorgeous looks. Showing 16,900 miles the car has been in storage for the past decade and has been brought out and recommissioned at a cost of $20,000. New tires, full tune including carburettor rebuild, brake rebuilt and new wire wheels. It is well sorted and runs and drives as designed. These cars check all the boxes for collectibility.
